This is one of our favourite pizza shops in Sydney which is perfect since we live right near it. I always get the New Delhi which is awesome and when all slices have been eaten, there is practically no oil left on the bottom of the box so I actually feel like it's not too bad for me.
They are always really quick and consistent, never once have I had a bad pizza. Some flavours are better than others but our faves are the New Delhi and the Avenue Special. -

Delivery was really quick even during the busy dinner rush. Pizza was decent. My problem was I ordered a Cesar Salad and it had Bacon mixed in with it. This was not stated in the salad description. It should be listed if any type of meat is going to be included on a salad that otherwise and traditionally does not have meat. (They also had a Chicken Cesar on menu) When I called they just said that's how they make it, no apology or offer if exchange. Won't be going back.

Excellent pizza delivered spot on time. I found their toppings to be very good, base was not too thin not too thick. Overall a very good traditional Australian pizza with friendly service and on time delivery. I will be returning.

This is not chain store pizza. That alone is a worth Yelping about! It's authentic, dough-smelling wood-fired pizza, crispy-based and bubbling with cheese. Don't even THINK about that hideous idea of filling the crust with cheese as well - it's a gimmick that adds calories and would never be needed if the original pizza tasted right anyway!
Do I sound like a pizza tyrant? Just a purist. Even here I struggle with the gourmet options. Can you really call a pizza Bangkok? Or serve it with jalapenos? No, give me lots of ham or salami topped with Italian-style veg, and let me watch the chef lean into the flames and swizzle his pizza peel. It's an art.
Good service and prompt delivery, but don't under-order - the pizzas aren't huge. -

Come 5pm, the smell of oregano fills Avenue Road and we know we have arrived in the land of compromise. Pizzas are thin and crispy (tick) but the toppings are anything but subtle or authentic (tick for me).
Barcelona is one of my favourites: Refried beans, fire-roasted capsicums and pumpkin seeds, bocconcini with a touch of chilli, served with sour cream and guacamole. They serve the sour cream in a separate pot which is great because you really an enjoy the pizza the next day. Watch out though it has a sting in its tail (and on a few occasions, so have I as a result!).
We get the large pizza (half and half) and there's plenty for 2 with salad. They advise delivery times when you order (which I appreciate) and delivery is free. Woot!
